Remnants X-Tee for myself - McCall's 7538

I really loved the feel of this fabric on my cousin dress and the shape of the V neck so I was so so happy to find that I have enough fabric and border print left to make a tee as well. I wanted to add some twist but I had no better idea except switch the longer stripe on the other side. I should have put the lighter stripes upper as well but only realized I could have done that when I decided to time each of the diagonal band 1-2 cm to have it end with the last stripe rather then including of the of the other print as I did for the dress. That was a good decision - I only lost a bit of length like that; the rest of the shape seemed to be just fine.
I just have to say it again I love the many choices that this pattern offers and they are all so lovely!!!
I think this might just become my favorite tee pattern - the only competition for it being the V bloced Lekala 4511.

    1. The fabric is even better in reality then in photos and is so soft to touch! I wore my new top at work yesterday and I felt so pretty in it!

  2. You must have a lot of patience, I would freak out at anything with so much detail on the pattern, or probably I am very lazy in my sewing. Looks great though

    1. Thanks! This one was actually not that hard. All the trick was in placing the pattern pieces and that's one of my favorite thing to do along with picking out fabrics. I am quite lazy myself most of the time and like easy projects but all the great sewing other people are doing inspires me to take my time with some projects...
