I keep saying again and again how good I feel in this pants. And they are also so easy to make that I can't seem to help myself making more. But this really is my last batch.
This last 2 pairs and both woven fabric to wear outside and at work on the last part of my pregnancy. I love this 1st navy one in the same fabric as the scalloped navy blue jacket to bad that for the 2nd pair the fabric was a little bit velvety and I didn't cut them in the same direction front and back so now in certain lights the front and the back have different colors.
Now I have a full collection of pants from this pattern in all kind of fabrics.

More maternity home wear - my tnt top + Butterick 5796
As my belly got really big I found a lot of my home cloth being uncomfortable so I took advantage of the arrival of the new serger 2 weeks ago and my easy TNT's and got another set done in green this time. I love it. Is really comfy. I finally got some pictures in it to show it off. See also my 1st home wear set .
Just as a small reminder of the patterns:
The green printed fabric is some left over from a dress a did for my 1st pregnancy. I think I come a long way in sewing since then.

Flower power - maternity home wear - Simplicity 5369 + Butterick 5796
I had started this top a very long time ago as my muslin for Simplicity 5369 and it was a good thing I tried first. It was to tight for me under the arm so I cut around the neck and inserted the blew band for some ease and now I can wear it around the house. And since I loved the pants from Butterick 5796 so much and they are so easy to sew I got a matching pair for the blouse last weekend.

Maternity coordinates - Butterick 5796
I am trying to be true to myself and sew for my pregnancy. I had this promising pattern Butterick 5796 and I just had to try it. I was mostly drawn by the top on view D but I said I should try the pants as well.
The end result was the other way around. I love the pants. They fit me perfectly. The top seems somehow odd. It may be because of my color blocking and some fact that I shorted it but still something is a bit off wearing it.Not much but still..
The print fabric is a 3D jersey and the black one from the top is some sort of sweater knit.
I used size 10 for the top and 8 for pants. I did no alteration to the pants but for the top I had to take a little from the sides since it was huge at the belly.I also made it shorter and played a bit with the fabrics.
It is not perfect but it is OK and I can't wait to sew a new version of the pants for home. They really are very comfortable.
