Nautical top - getting lekala #4511 to fit on the waist

So after my first attempt of lekala #4511 I was still intrigued but the pattern.

    I was not happy at all with the large hem on the bottom. So I just had to try fix that. After flat measure each piece and the previous tee I decided to take the extra from the side panel.

   So the green hash went out. I had 10cm + extra so I took in a little bit on back and side seam as well but very little to not break it...
   This time I didn't had the courage to cut into good fabrics so I went with scraps from previous projects ( nautical print top - V1275 & sailor dress - V8649 ). I like the colors but the navy french terry I used was thicker and stiffer then the print and it doesn't drape OK in this pattern. But at the time I was just concerned with the fit and the colors... I also wish I would have used stripes in the center and circles on the sides but too late for that....
   All in all I love the fit of the new version but the the fabric combo so the battle with this pattern is not over yet...
